Strict legislation should be enacted against the insult of the " HOLY QURAAN "

USPA NEWS - Sharqpur Sharif In the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, for the past few years, a few devilishly arrogant individuals have been insulting the word of God on a daily basis and circulating it on social media, which no Muslim can see or tolerate. Unfortunately, the government of the day is not taking any significant steps to address this extremely sensitive and heartbreaking issue, nor are our courts paying special attention to it.

In order to draw the attention of the government of the day and to enact the strictest legislation for the sanctity of the Quran, a conference of Sunni scholars and mashaikhs was held at the Astana Alia Sher Rabbani Sharqpur Sharif on the sanctity of the Quran and the sanctity of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), in which Mian Jalil Ahmed Sharqpuri expressed his deep concern over the incidents of desecrating the manuscripts of the Holy Quran.

Advocate Hassan Muawiya and Advocate Ali Changezi gave a briefing on the 127 cases registered so far and the evil deeds of about 500 accused who have been arrested, how these devils commit adultery on the holy copies of the Holy Quran and upload them on social media by throwing dirt on them. Aware of the evil deeds of these devilish accused, the participants jointly presented a resolution.

1. The 31 copies of the Holy Quran that were defaced and are still lying in the custody of the FIA as evidence were immediately tested, samples were taken for DNA testing, and within two days, they were washed, cleaned and preserved. Leaving these holy Quranic copies full of dirt as evidence for many years is a gross negligence of the government and the courts and a painful news for every Muslim.
2. Strict legislation should be enacted against the insult of the Holy Quran, divine names and other sacred places and punishment of stoning should be prescribed for them.
3. Continuous awareness campaign should be launched at the government level against blasphemy.

4. All such programmers and materials on social media and other media that promote religious blasphemy or indecency should be banned. 5. The current situation requires that the sheikhs, religious scholars should oblige the members of parliament (national and provincial) within their respective spheres of influence to take a strong, reasoned and fearless stand to protect the sanctity of the Quran and the sanctity of the Prophethood within the House, and to move forward towards such legislation that will bring the honor and dignity of the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) under an impregnable fence.

6. This is not just a criminal or constitutional issue but an issue of the faith, honour and spiritual existence of the Ummah. The need of the hour is to impose a punishment on these unfortunate elements that not only meets the requirements of justice but also represents the religious pride of the Ummah. A punishment that will serve as an example to the world, so that no one in the future will even think of committing such atrocities.
7. To prevent these vile conspiracies, a special and independent institution should be established that is well versed in all aspects of investigation, surveillance and legal proceedings according to modern requirements. Those experts, sincere and capable people should be appointed in this institution who consider their duties not just a job but their religious duty. This institution should be kept free from any kind of political, legal or administrative interference so that justice can be done without delay and without discrimination.

8. More than 3400 applications have been received by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) so far regarding the sanctity of the Prophet, out of which only 115 FIRs could be filed. The question is why there is silence on the remaining thousands of applications? Isn't the law equal for everyone? Are the criminals being protected? This criminal negligence and carelessness must be held accountable, and those responsible for the delay must be brought to justice.

9. There is no compromise on the sanctity and honor of the Holy Quran and the Messenger of Allah (?), nor is any delay acceptable. 10. The faith of the nation is based on this foundation, and if this faith is challenged, it will not be just a legal crisis, but will become a national crisis. At this time,

13. it is necessary for all state institutions, the judiciary, parliament and administration to perform their duty with full sincerity, courage and honesty, so that the world can receive the message that the Muslim Ummah is ready to make any kind of sacrifice for the sanctity of its Holy Prophet (?) and the people.
